This year for Teacher Appreciation, we invited our customers and community to nominate the teachers they love—and the response was incredible. We received hundreds of heartfelt nominations from people across all 12 states we ship to, and selected 9 amazing teachers (and their entire faculties) to highlight and surprise with meals!

Here’s what we were able to do thanks to your support:

• Delivered meals to 336 teachers and faculty members

• Visited 5 different elementary schools

• Highlighted 9 incredible teachers based on community nominations

Some of the reasons these teachers were nominated truly warmed our hearts. Here’s a glimpse of the love they inspire every day:

"I’ve seen the love and respect she gives her students, first and foremost. To teach alternative kindergartners it takes a special teacher to prep them for mainstream classrooms, and I think sometimes these teachers get overlooked."

It was such a special way to celebrate the incredible impact teachers have on their students, schools, and communities. We want to sincerely thank our customers for taking the time to nominate and help us honor teachers in such a meaningful way.
