A delicious southern twist on our Sausage Penne sandwiched between two delicious, fluffy, and garlicy buns.
|3/4 cup||Beehive Meals Sausage Penne|
|1/4 tsp||Cajun Seasoning|
|8 Slices||Chicken Breast (sliced)|
|2||Provolone Cheese Slices|
|1/4||Red Bell Pepper (julienned)|
|1/4||Green Bell Pepper (julienned)|
|1/4||Yellow Bell Pepper (julienned)|
|1/4||Red Onion (sliced)|
|To Taste||Cajun Seasoning|
Follow Slow Cooking instructions according to directions for Sausage Penne.
Add cajun seasoning to Beehive Meals Sausage Penne and stir until combined.
Prepare and slice bell peppers and red onion. In a medium skillet, heat about 1 Tbsp of olive oil over medium heat. Then add peppers and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until slightly soft. After the peppers are cooked about halfway through, add onions and cook for about 2-3 minutes.
Butter inside of french buns, and lightly season with garlic salt. Broil in oven at 450 degrees for about 6 minutes, until perfectly golden brown.
Top with 4 slices of deli chicken breast and a slice of provolone cheese. Place back in oven and broil until cheese is melted.
Remove from oven and top with sauteed peppers and onions, and 1/4 cup of Beehive Meals Sausage Penne. Place bun on top of sandwich and lightly press down, then serve and enjoy!
