Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Commercial Kitchen Cleaning Team Member to join our team at Beehive Meals. This role is crucial to maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our commercial kitchen production facility and ensuring it is ready for the upcoming day's operations. Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Sanitization: Perform cleaning and sanitization of all kitchen equipment, surfaces, and workspaces to maintain a high standard of hygiene. Follow established cleaning protocols and schedules to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Set-Up for Upcoming Production and Fulfillment: Prepare the kitchen for the upcoming day's production and fulfillment by organizing utensils, equipment, and insulated bags. Assist in the setup of workstations and production lines as directed.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly to the supervisor.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Qualifications:
Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail to maintain facility cleanliness and adhere to packaging standards.
Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Team Player: Willingness to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors and kitchen staff.
Food Safety Awareness: Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is preferred but not mandatory. Training can be provided.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced cleaning and fulfillment environment.
