Meatball Sub

A quick and easy gluten-free sub sandwich filled with our saucy and delicious meatballs, topped with mushrooms, garlic and onions.

Beehive Meals Meatball Marinara
2Gluten-Free Ciabatta Rolls
2 slicesSliced Mozzarella Cheese
1/2 cupSliced Mushrooms
1/2 cupSliced White Onions
1 tspMinced Garlic

Instructions

Step 1:

Follow Slow Cooking Instructions from our Meatball Marinara.

Step 2:

Slice gluten-free ciabatta rolls in half, butter and season with garlic salt.

Broil in the oven until buns are golden brown.

In a saute pan, heat 1 Tbsp olive oil. Add sliced mushrooms, sliced onions, minced garlic, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Saute on medium heat until mushrooms and onions are cooked, about 8-10 minutes.

Add 3/4 cup of Beehive Meals Meatball Marinara to broiled buns. Top with cheese and broil in the oven again until cheese is melted.

Top with sauteed mushrooms and onions.
