Meatball Subs

A quick and easy sub sandwich filled with our saucy and delicious meatballs, topped with mushrooms, garlic and onions.

Recipe and Ingredients

2 cups
Beehive Meals Marinara and Meatballs
2French Rolls or Italian Buns
2 slicesSliced Mozzarella Cheese
1 cupSliced Mushrooms
3/4 cupSliced White Onions
1 tspMinced Garlic


Step 1:

Follow Slow Cooking Instructions from our Meatballs and Marinara.

Step 2:

Slice french rolls or italian buns in half, butter and season with garlic salt.

Step 3:

Broil in the oven until buns are golden brown.

Step 4:

In a saute pan, heat 1 Tbsp olive oil. Add sliced mushrooms, sliced onions, minced garlic, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Saute on medium heat until mushrooms and onions are cooked, about 8-10 minutes.

Step 5:

Add 1 cup of Beehive Meals Marinara and Meatballs to broiled buns. Top with cheese and broil in the oven again until cheese is melted.

Step 5:

Top with sauteed mushrooms and onions.
