A creamy comfort food packed with the flavors of sautéed mushrooms and onions, combined with our delicious Parmesan Herb Chicken.
|3/4 cup||Beehive Meals Parmesan Herb Chicken|
|1/2 tsp||Olive Oil|
|2 Tbsp||Onion (minced)|
|1/2 tsp||Garlic (minced)|
|To Taste||Salt & Pepper|
|2 Tbsp||White Wine|
|1 1/2 cups||Low Sodium Chicken Broth|
|1/4 cup||Shredded Parmesan Cheese|
Follow Slow Cooking Instructions to cook chicken from our Parmesan Herb Chicken.
Heat olive oil in large skillet. Saute mushrooms, onion and garlic, and add salt and pepper to taste.
Add orzo pasta and saute for about 2-3 minutes. Add White Wine, using a wooden spoon to scrape up the brown bits from the pan. Pour in the chicken broth, stir everything together and bring it to a boil.
Boil for 2 minutes, then reduce heat to medium-low and cover with a lid. Simmer for about 10 minutes, or until liquid is all soaked up and orzo is cooked.
Add Beehive Meals Parmesan Herb Chicken, shredded parmesan cheese, herbs and stir until combined.
