Pizza Pasta Calzones

Our delicious Pizza Pasta folded into a tasty and toasty calzone, topped with a parmesan herb butter so good it will make you want to say "Mamma Mia!". 


Recipe and Ingredients

1  1/3 cups
Beehive Meals Pizza Pasta
1Pillsbury Doughboy Pizza Crust
1/4 cupShredded Mozzarella Cheese
2 TbspSoftened Butter
2 TbspMayo
2 TbspParmesan Cheese
1/8 tspGarlic Salt
1/4 tspItalian Seasonings


Step 1:

Follow Slow Cooking Instructions to Pizza Pasta.

Step 2:

Cut pizza crust in circles about 6 inches in diameter. If needed, knead extra dough together, roll out, and cut more circles.

Fill one half of each crust with about 2-3 Tbsp of Beehive Meals Pizza Pasta, making sure to not overfill and leaving about 1/2 an inch clear on the edges.

Sprinkle each calzone with 2 tsps of mozzarella cheese.

Step 3:

Fold over each calzone, sealing the edges by pressing down with a fork. 

Step 4:

In a small bowl, add softened butter, mayo, parmesan cheese, garlic salt and italian seasonings and stir until combined.

Evenly spread butter mixture over each calzone and bake in the oven on a greased cooking sheet at 425 degrees for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. 

Step 5:
