Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Team Supervisor to lead our dynamic production team at Beehive Meals. Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Management: Supervise and lead a team of production workers, providing clear direction, guidance, and support to ensure daily tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.

Foster a Positive Team Culture: Create and maintain a positive and inclusive team environment that promotes collaboration, open communication, and a strong sense of belonging.

Training and Development: Identify training needs within the team and work through your team's dedicated training specialist to provide coaching and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Task Assignment: Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and strengths while considering production schedules and deadlines.

Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess team performance and provide constructive feedback. Recognize and reward outstanding performance and address any performance issues promptly.

Production Management:

Production Planning: Collaborate with production planners and managers to ensure production schedules are met, and resources are utilized efficiently.

Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure that products meet or exceed established quality standards.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

Safety Compliance: Ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production reports, inventory levels, and incident reports.

Motivation and Team Engagement:

Motivate the Team: Inspire and motivate team members to achieve production goals and targets, fostering a sense of ownership and accountability.

Qualifications:

Proven Leadership: 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role, preferably in a production or manufacturing setting.

Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly and facilitate effective teamwork.
