Salsa Verde Pork Torta

Tender pork slow-cooked in a robust Salsa Verde sauce and served as a delicious torta.


Recipe and Ingredients

1  1/2 cups
pork (208g) + sauce (202g)
Beehive Meals Salsa Verde Pork
2 (152g)Hoagie Buns
2 Slices (38g)Pepperjack Cheese, sliced
1/4 cup (64g)Refried Beans, no fat


Step 1:

Follow Slow Cooking Instructions to cook Salsa Verde Pork.

Step 2:

Toast Hoagie, then evenly spread 2 Tablespoons (32g) no fat refried beans, then split one slice (19g) of pepperjack cheese in half and place along the inside of the top of the sandwich. 

Step 3:

On each torta, add 3/4 cup (214g) Beehive Meals Salsa Verde Pork, then top with any of your other favorite toppings. Serve, and enjoy!
