Step 1:
Follow Slow Cooking instructions according to directions for Sausage Penne.
Add cajun seasoning to Beehive Meals Sausage Penne and stir until combined.
Step 2:
Prepare and slice bell peppers and red onion. In a medium skillet, heat about 1 Tbsp of olive oil over medium heat. Then add peppers and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until slightly soft. After the peppers are cooked about halfway through, add onions and cook for about 2-3 minutes.
Step 3:
Add shrimp, then season generously with cajun seasoning and garlic salt. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, ensuring that the shrimp does not get overcooked. If the shrimp is cooked too long, it tends to get a very chewy and rubbery texture.
Step 4:
In a large, separate pot, boil water and cook bowtie pasta. Drain. Plate pasta, then top with Beehive Meals Sausage Penne, and top with sautéed veggies and shrimp. Top with parmesan cheese, serve with garlic bread, and enjoy!
