Spice up your Zesty Italian Chicken by making a delicious and homemade spicy alfredo pasta.
|1/2 cup||Beehive Meals Zesty Italian Chicken|
|2.5 oz||Bowtie Pasta (uncooked)|
|1/2 cup||Heavy Cream|
|1/2 tsp||Black Pepper|
|3 Tbsp||Parmesan/Romano Cheese|
|1/4 tsp||Cayenne Pepper **OPTIONAL**|
|1/2 tsp||Creole Seasoning|
|1/4 cup||Sliced Mushrooms|
|1/4 cup||Artichoke Hearts (quartered)|
|2 Tbsp||Sun-dried Tomatoes|
Follow Slow Cooking Instructions to cook chicken from our Zesty Italian Chicken.
Melt butter in saute pan. Add cream and seasoning and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and fold in cheeses. Set aside.
NOTE** Cayenne pepper seasoning is OPTIONAL! It adds spice to the meal. If you like spicy foods, add the cayenne pepper and even a little more depending on how spicy you like it, and vice versa.. If you don't like super spicy foods but enjoy the flavor, add less cayenne pepper, or none at all, than the servings suggested.
In a separate saute pan, saute mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, and artichoke hearts in 1 tbsp of olive oil. Cook until vegetables are cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
Then add Beehive Meals Zesty Italian Chicken to cooked vegetables and stir until combined. Set aside.
Boil pasta and cook until al dente. Drain pasta from water and return back to pot. Add sauce and sauteed vegetables with the Zesty Italian Chicken to pasta and fold until combined.
Serve with warm, fresh breadsticks, a salad, and enjoy!
