Manicotti stuffed with a ricotta cheese, italian cheese, and italian seasonings mixture, baked with our Sausage Alfredo.
|1 and 1/2 cups||Beehive Meals Sausage Alfredo|
|4 oz||Ricotta Cheese|
|2 Tbsp||Grated Parmesan Cheese|
|1/2 cup||Shredded Italian Cheese|
|1/2 tsp||Minced Garlic|
|1 and 1/2 tsp||Minced Basil|
|1 dash||Black Pepper|
|1/4 cup||Shredded Italian Cheese|
Follow Slow Cooking Instructions to cook sausage from our Sausage Alfredo.
In a large pot, boil manicotti in lightly salted water. After they are cooked almost al dente (leaving them a little undercooked will ensure that the pasta doesn't tear, and they will finish cooking when we bake them in the oven), place individual cooked manicotti on a cooling rack, making sure they don't touch.
In a separate bowl, add ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, shredded italian cheese, egg, garlic, basil, salt and pepper and stir until combined.
In a baking dish, place 1/4 of the suggested amount of Beehive Meals Sausage Alfredo in bottom of baking dish depending on serving size. Then scoop (or, if it's easier, place ricotta cheese mixture in a ziplock bag, cut one of the corners and use it to quickly and easily fill each manicotti) about 3 Tbsp of ricotta cheese mixture into each manicotti. Place filled manicotti on top of Beehive Meals Sausage Alfredo sauce in baking dish.
Once shells are placed in baking dish, use leftover Beehive Meals Sausage Alfredo and pour on top of shells. Evenly sprinkle shredded italian cheese for topping on top of the shells.
Cover with tinfoil and bake in oven at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. When there is five minutes left, take the tinfoil off and bake uncovered for the last five minutes.
Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
