Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Overnight Delivery Driver to join our team at Beehive Meals. As an Overnight Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods from our Layton, UT facility to various destinations, including overnight travel to more distant locations (Idaho, Southern Utah, and Nevada). This role requires a commitment to safe and efficient driving, as well as the flexibility to stay overnight while completing delivery routes. Responsibilities:

Safe and Efficient Driving: Operate company vehicles to deliver freezer meals in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols. Follow established delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.

Overnight Travel: Conduct overnight stays to deliver meals to more distant locations or as needed to complete delivery routes. Coordinate overnight accommodations and meals, and plan routes to optimize delivery efficiency.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that freezer meals are delivered in pristine condition and are appropriately labeled and dated. Report any discrepancies or issues to the delivery supervisor.

Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after each shift to ensure that vehicles are in good working condition. Report any vehicle maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of delivered orders, including temperatures of delivered meals and recording any delivery notes or feedback. Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to the delivery supervisor.

Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols, traffic regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Use seat belts and other safety equipment at all times.

Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.

Safe Driving: A strong commitment to safe and responsible driving practices.

Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills and a customer-centric approach to delivery.

Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and report any issues or concerns.

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry bags of freezer meals and work in various weather conditions.

Time Management: Strong time management skills to adhere to delivery schedules and meet deadlines.

GPS Proficiency: Familiarity with GPS and navigation apps to follow delivery routes accurately.

Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing delivery schedules and requirements.
