Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our production team as Meal Prep Team Members at Beehive Meals. As a member of our prep team, you will play a key role in the preparation and packaging of high-quality freezer meals. Responsibilities:

Food Preparation: Follow recipes and portion ingredients accurately for the preparation of freezer meal components. Operate food processing equipment, such as mixers, slicers, and choppers, following safety and quality guidelines.

Assembly and Packaging: Assemble freezer meals according to established specifications, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Package meals, seal containers, and apply labels as required for proper storage and distribution.

Quality Control: Perform quality checks to ensure that freezer meals meet established quality standards and are properly labeled and dated. Report any deviations or issues to the production supervisor.

Sanitization and Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including workstations, equipment, and utensils. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, including regular handwashing and glove usage.

Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth production line operations. Communicate effectively to maintain a harmonious and efficient work environment.

Safety: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.

Qualifications:

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and consistency of meal preparation and packaging.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Team Player: Willingness to work as part of a team, take direction from supervisors, and assist team members as needed.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Food Safety Awareness: Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and practices (training can be provided).

Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.

Prior Experience: Previous experience in a food production or kitchen environment is a plus but not mandatory.
