This year, our annual Season of Giving campaign took on a fresh and exciting new direction. At Beehive Meals, we believe that no family should have to choose between celebrating the holidays and putting food on the table. That’s why we partnered directly with organizations and individuals making a real difference in our community to provide nourishing meals to families who need them most. We’re thrilled to share the incredible impact we made together this holiday season.

A New Approach to Giving Back

Our 2024 Season of Giving campaign was focused on working alongside impactful community organizations and individuals, empowering them to help alleviate the financial stress that often accompanies the holiday season. By offering wholesome, filling meals, we aimed to spread hope and joy to families during this special time of year.

We also expanded our efforts by collaborating with our amazing affiliates. A select group of affiliates received five meal sets each to distribute to families in need, opening nominations on their platforms to ensure the meals reached those who needed them most. This collaborative effort allowed us to touch even more lives and broaden our reach in a meaningful way.

For those who didn’t have a specific family to nominate, we invited them to support the campaign through donations on our website. Every donation and purchase amplified our mission, helping us provide even more meals to families across our community.

The Impact: By the Numbers

This season, we donated over 6,000 meals to families in need. Thanks to your generosity and support, we achieved incredible results this year. Here’s how we spread hope, one meal at a time:
  • Utah Foster Care: We attended multiple events, including their Breakfast with Santa alongside the First Lady of Utah and her team, the Hill Air Force Base Santa Brigade, and the Murdock Group’s boots donation initiative. Through these efforts, we distributed 195 full sets of meals.
  • Local Schools: To support teachers during this busy time of year, we provided 551 sets of five meals, helping them get warm meals on the table.
  • Layton City Fire Department: We delivered 40 individual meals to our local firefighters, ensuring they had meals to cook while on duty.
  • Layton City Workers: We provided 100 sets of five meals to city workers who needed extra help this holiday season.
  • Employee Season of Giving: Our team personally sought out members of our community in need, distributing 82 full sets of meals.
  • Affiliate Contributions: Through the Affiliate Season of Giving, 153 sets of five meals were provided to nominated families in need.

This campaign wasn’t just about meals—it was about fostering a sense of community and showing that together, we can make a real difference. Whether through donations, nominations, or simply spreading the word, every effort contributed to our shared mission of alleviating hunger and stress during the holidays.

As we wrap up this year’s Season of Giving, we’re filled with gratitude for everyone who joined us in this effort. Together, we not only met but exceeded our goal of bringing nourishment and joy to families in need.
