2 Tbsp | Unsalted Butter |
1/4 cup | Heavy Cream |
2/3 cup | Shredded Cheddar Cheese |
1/3 tsp | Kosher Salt |
1/4 cup | Ground Black Pepper |
Step 1:
Follow Slow Cooking Instructions to cook Apple Cider Pork Roast. Once pork is finished cooking, shred pork instead of slicing.
Step 2:
Add grits to boiling chicken broth and stir quickly to avoid clumps. Lower heat and let simmer for about five minutes or until thick.
Add butter, cream, cheese, and salt/pepper (and any other desired spices) and stir until all is melted and combined.
**OPTIONAL** We typically also add smoked Gouda when we're feeling fancy!
