Creamy, buttery and flakey flavor of Southern Style grits topped with our tender and juicy Apple Cider Pork Roast.
|1 cup||Beehive Meals Apple Cider Pork Roast|
|1/2 cup||Quick Cooking Grits|
|2 cups||Chicken Broth|
|2 Tbsp||Unsalted Butter|
|1/4 cup||Heavy Cream|
|2/3 cup||Shredded Cheddar Cheese|
|1/3 tsp||Kosher Salt|
|1/4 cup||Ground Black Pepper|
Follow Slow Cooking Instructions to cook Apple Cider Pork Roast. Once pork is finished cooking, shred pork instead of slicing.
Add grits to boiling chicken broth and stir quickly to avoid clumps. Lower heat and let simmer for about five minutes or until thick.
Add butter, cream, cheese, and salt/pepper (and any other desired spices) and stir until all is melted and combined.
**OPTIONAL** We typically also add smoked Gouda when we're feeling fancy!
