Creamy Lemon Chicken Rice Bake

Our Creamy Lemon Chicken baked with rice to create a delicious rice bake bursting with citrus flavor!


Recipe and Ingredients

Beehive Meals Creamy Lemon Chicken
2 TbspButter
2 TbspDiced Red Onions
1/4 cupSliced Crimini Mushrooms
1/4 cupFlour
1/2 tspGarlic Powder
1/2 tspOnion Powder
1/4 tspSalt
1/8 tspBlack Pepper
1/2 canCream of Chicken Soup
3/4 cupChicken Broth
1/2 cupLong Grain White Rice
1/2 tspMinced Garlic
1/4Lemon (Juice from)
2 TbspShredded Parmesan Cheese
1 TbspFresh Chopped Basil
2 SlicesFresh Lemon


Step 1:

Follow Slow Cooking Instructions to cook chicken from our Creamy Lemon Chicken.

Step 2:

In a large skillet, melt butter and saute mushrooms and onions.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. 

Once veggies are soft, add flour mixture and whisk together, ensuring there are no clumps.

Step 3:

Add chicken broth and stir until combined. Then add soup, rice, garlic, lemon juice, shredded parmesan cheese, and Beehive Meals Creamy Lemon Chicken and stir until combined.

Step 4:

Transfer to lightly greased baking dish. Layer lemon slices over mixture.

Step 5:

Cover with tinfoil and bake for 40-60 minutes at 375 degrees. Cook until liquid is absorbed. Remove the tinfoil for the last 5-10 minutes of baking process. Sprinkle on fresh basil.

Step 6:

Let chill for 5-10 minutes before serving. Then serve and enjoy!
