Cooking Instructions

Step 1:

Remove from bag and place in slow cooker.

Step 2:

Add water to meal in slow cooker.

Smaller Portions - Add 1 cup of water.
Regular Portions - Add 1 and 1/2 cups of water.
Bigger Portions - Add 2 cups of water.

Step 3:

Set time. Cook in slow cooker on LOW for 1-2 hours [thawed] or 2-3 hours [frozen].

Step 4:

When meal is finished cooking, removed italian sausage from meal and shred apart with two forks. Add back to crockpot and stir.

Plate and serve as desired.

Slow Cooker (Crockpot) Sizes

The size of your crockpot can affect the outcome of your meal. If your crockpot is smaller than what we recommend, you may need to cook your meal a little longer. If it’s larger than what we recommend you may need to shorten the cooking time. You will need to keep a close eye on the chicken as it cooks. Here are the crockpot sizes we recommend for each meal size to help cook your meals just right:

Serving Suggestions

Scoop your desired serving onto a plate or bowl, garnish with parmesan cheese, and serve warm. To complement your dish, the first bread that comes to mind is usually garlic bread (which will always be a family favorite!) but we suggest keeping it simple. Simple breads will complement the rich taste perfectly because they won’t overpower the bold flavor of the sauce. Then add a caesar salad with romaine lettuce, croutons, Parmesan cheese, and Caesar dressing to add balance to the meal.
