Slow Cooker (Crockpot) Sizes

The size of your crockpot can affect the outcome of your meal. If your crockpot is smaller than what we recommend, you may need to cook your meal a little longer. If it’s larger than what we recommend you may need to shorten the cooking time. You will need to keep a close eye on the chicken as it cooks. Here are the crockpot sizes we recommend for each meal size to help cook your meals just right:

Smaller Portion (SP) - 3-Quart Crockpot
Regular Portion (RP) - 4-Quart Crockpot
Bigger Portion (BP) - 6-Quart Crockpot

Pressure Cooker (InstantPot) Cooking Instructions

Though Beehive Meals are primarily designed to be cooked within a slow cooker (Crockpot), many of our meals can be cooked in a Pressure Cooker (InstantPot). Please reference our Pressure Cooker Instructions in the helpful links below.

Serving Suggestions

This soup is simple yet delicious. You can keep it simple and eat it as is, or add shredded colby jack cheese, sour cream, cilantro, jalapenos, fresh limes, and top it off with some crumbled tortilla chips.

If you aren't in the mood for soup and want to try something a little different, try adding only a cup of water per Regular Portion (2/3 cup for a Small Portion, and 1 and 1/3 cups for a Big Portion), and use it to make enchiladas! Simply scoop 1/4 cup of Enchilada mixture in each tortilla, then roll up and place in baking dish, then cover with enchilada sauce and cheese and bake in the oven until cheese is melted.
