Slow Cooker (Crockpot) Sizes

The size of your crockpot can affect the outcome of your meal. If your crockpot is smaller than what we recommend, you may need to cook your meal a little longer. If it’s larger than what we recommend you may need to shorten the cooking time. You will need to keep a close eye on the chicken as it cooks. Here are the crockpot sizes we recommend for each meal size to help cook your meals just right:

Smaller Portion (SP) - 3-Quart Crockpot
Regular Portion (RP) - 4-Quart Crockpot
Bigger Portion (BP) - 6-Quart Crockpot

Pressure Cooker (InstantPot) Cooking Instructions

Though Beehive Meals are primarily designed to be cooked within a slow cooker (Crockpot), many of our meals can be cooked in a Pressure Cooker (InstantPot). Please reference our Pressure Cooker Instructions in the helpful links below.

Serving Suggestions

Chicken and Stuffing is a very filling meal so we don't recommend going too crazy with the sides. Start by serving the dish over rice (white or brown) then keep it simple with a side of vegetables, house salad, or mashed potato. You can also add steakhouse rolls or southern cornbread. Try it with quinoa, amaranth or couscous as a healthy substitute for rice.

Our Chicken & Stuffing is so delicious and bursting with flavors, it reminds us a lot of the flavors of Thanksgiving. We love everything about fall; the colors, football, chilly weather, and cozying up next to the fire with a warm and comforting plate or bowl of food. We also love the TV Show "Friends", so of course the first thing we thought to make with our Chicken & Stuffing was Ross Geller's Thanksgiving Leftovers Sandwich. It has all the delicious flavors of Thanksgiving sandwiched between two brioche buns. If you want to be a little adventurous, try our Thanksgiving Pizza. It is a Thanksgiving leftovers tradition at our house, and our crockpot Chicken & Stuffing relieves you from hours of prep to get the same delicious pizza. Try the Chicken & Stuffing Wreath for a simple and delicious Friendsgiving appetizer!
