Packaging & Insulation

Your meals are packed in an insulated cooler, which is then placed inside a recyclable, insulated shipping box. This setup helps maintain safe temperatures throughout the shipping process, even if the dry ice has dissipated before arrival. We use UPS, FedEx and OnTrack to deliver our meals straight to your doorstep.

Dry Ice in Your Shipment

Your meals are packed with dry ice to keep everything frozen through the full transit window. We calculate the amount of dry ice based on your location and shipping method. It’s completely normal for the dry ice to fully sublimate (evaporate) before your package arrives. If your meals are still cold to the touch or partially frozen, they’re safe to refreeze. You should always inspect your delivery to ensure it arrives refrigerator cold below 40 degrees fahrenheit. No need to worry if the dry ice is gone when you open the box.

Shipping Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address entered at checkout is accurate. Because our carriers deliver directly to the address provided, we’re not able to recover or replace orders if an incorrect address is submitted.

If you notice an error, please contact us as soon as possible. The sooner we’re informed, the better chance we have of assisting before the order ships.

PO Box Addresses

We’re unable to ship to PO Boxes due to restrictions. Please provide a residential address.
If a PO Box address is entered at checkout, your order will be delayed. Our team will reach out to update your address before we can continue processing.

Rural ZIP Codes

Some rural areas only receive deliveries on select days of the week. If your ZIP code falls into one of these regions, your order may experience longer processing times. We’ll keep an eye on it and work to get your meals delivered as promptly as the carrier allows.

Processing Time

Beehive Meals can currently ship to 50 states. Orders are processed Monday through Friday. Our standard processing time is 1–5 business days based on your location.

Ground shipping: 1-3 business days
Air shipping: 3-5 business days

During peak seasons, or adverse weather, it may take a bit longer, but we’ll always do everything we can to keep things moving and get your meals shipped out as quickly as possible.

Shipping Transit Time

Once your order leaves our facility, it typically arrives within 24–48 hours. We ship to 50 states using a mix of air and ground services depending on your geographical area to keep your meals frozen in transit.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Once an order has been fulfilled, we can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to cancel it or make changes. Once an order has shipped, we’re unable to cancel or modify it.
